2025 AVCFC AGM
The Alberni Community Forest Corporation is holding their Annual General Meeting for the fiscal 2025 year. It will be held at
6:30 PM on May 13, 2026 at the The Italian Hall Events Centre (4065 6th Ave, Port Alberni).
- The Financial Report for 2025 will be presented.
- A presentation on the operation for 2025 will be presented.
Guest Speaker Shannon Janzen, RPF, Owner of Hypha Consulting Inc., Co-Chair of the Provincial Forestry Advisory Council, and co-author of the 2026 report From Conflict to Care: B.C.'s Forest Future, will speak on the findings of this report which she co-authored earlier this year.
This meeting is open to the general public and will provide information on operations of the Alberni Valley Community Forest, and 2025 Fiscal Report.

The objective of the meetings was to share information with the community, and consult regarding management visions, values, and objectives that would be in the public’s best interest. Without public support and a commitment on the part of the community to become involved, the Alberni Valley Community Forest will not be feasible.
